The Story Behind PawSmooth
It started with a video. A skinny, trembling dog — ribs visible, eyes wide — sitting alone in a shelter kennel. Not aggressive. Not sick. Just forgotten. Waiting for someone to walk through the door and choose him.
That dog never got chosen. He was one of 334,000 dogs euthanized in U.S. shelters in 2024 — not because they were dangerous, not because they were broken, but simply because there wasn't enough space, enough food, or enough people who knew they existed.
We're a pet grooming brand. We sell nail grinders. But we're also pet people — and we couldn't keep building something for pampered pups without acknowledging the ones who have nothing at all.
